About Mohamed Firin

Mohamed Firin is a dedicated community leader and lifelong resident of northwest Toronto. In his decades of community involvement with various grassroots organizations, he has worked tirelessly to connect Ontarians with access to good jobs, higher education and critical services. 

In his most recent work as a Special Advisor to the Premier of Ontario as the government’s Advocate for Community Opportunities and Chair of the Premier’s Council on Equality of Opportunity, he championed economic empowerment, promoted public safety and encouraged civic engagement.  

With a deep commitment to public service, Mohamed is ready to bring his advocacy to Queen’s Park to ensure that all Ontarians have the support and opportunities they need to build a brighter future.
